Past Issues of the Netarts CAC newsletter

The Netarts Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) is an advisory body to Tillamook County government agencies and citizens. Our community of Netarts had a very active CAC in the past, and has just emerged from a 10 year dormant period. In the Spring of 2024, Nan Devlin and Dan Hagg of Tillamook Coast Visitors Association moderated a series of community input sessions.
During those four sessions, we came together to discuss what we loved about our little community, what we worried about regarding its future, and what we dreamed about for improvement. Community surveys were available to all members of our community. Work groups were formed, and we moved to our first elections in October 2024.
The "Netarts Talks" sessions resulted in a Comprehensive Community Destination & Management Plan. The plan is considered a living document and will be revisited and modified by the Work Groups as other issues or desires for improvements arise.
Visit Tillamook County's CAC website to read our Bylaws, Code revisions, and Survey results. You can also find recordings of past Netarts CAC meetings, as well as virtual links to attend the next meeting online.

CAC Membership
Membership in the Netarts CAC provides the opportunity to serve on Committees and Work Groups, participate in general membership meetings, and vote on any measures brought forth. Citizen Advisory Committees are the best way to have your voice heard. They are a valuable tool for decision makers in formulating policies and ordinances for land use action.
